Cation exchange resin is a chemical substance that is mainly used in the manufacture of refined sugar and the purification of advanced edible syrups. Ion exchange resin is generally porous or granular, and its size is about 0.5~1.0mm.

When the cation exchange resin encounters water, it can exchange one of its own active ions with a certain electric ion in the water, that is, a displacement reaction occurs, and the soluble ions in the water are removed. Cationic exchange resins are powdery and spherical, all of which are artificially synthesized and have a complex structure. They are mainly composed of two parts: one is the polymer skeleton, denoted as R; composition.
