Pretreatment part of RO Purification system includes feed water pump, quartz sand filter, activated carbon filter, precision filter, and dosing system. It solves the following problems:
1. Prevent the fouling problems on membrane surface, which including Fe3, Fe2, CaCO3, CaCO4,SrSO4, CaF2, SiO2, Iron, aluminum oxide.
2. Prevent fouling caused by colloidal substances and suspended solid particles.
3. Prevent fouling of the organic matter.
4. Prevent microbial fouling
5. Prevent oxidation of oxidation irreversible damage of RO membrane.
6. Keep the stable output of RO purification machine.

Quartz sand filter Filter
Fill in refined multi-layer refined quartz sand with different particle sizes. The design should fully consider the flushing strength problem. The reason of unstable operation of sand filter caused by unsteady mechanical filter back flush design flows. When back flush is not enough, the upper filter sand agglomerate SDI (pollution index) increases, which causes membrane fouling problem. After sufficient mechanical filter backwash process, the impurities deposed on sand filter layer surface would be wash away and recover the penetration ability. In order to improve the filtration efficiency and reduce the impact on the impurity sedimentation, timely back wash with compressed air filter material could reduce the turbidity less than 1 ntu.
Activated Carbon Filter
Activated carbon filter is mainly used to remove organic matter and residual chlorine. Within absorption of activated carbon, filtrated water removes 60% of organic matters and large amount of residual chlorine in feed water. Activated carbon removes residual chlorine is not a simple adsorption effect, but a catalyst effect after mechanical filter and reduce SDI less than 4.

Reverse osmosis system
Reverse osmosis membrane is the key part of the system. The reasonable design directly decides the output quality to meet the user’s requirements and the service life of RO membrane. Treated water from reverse osmosis unit can remove bacteria and organic matter, microorganism and large part of ions in water. There is no phase transition in process of separation. RO purification system is widely applied in various working circumstances to get pure water suitable for drinking without environmental pollution.
